On 24 December I was invited to the Department of English at SNDT Women’s University [Juhu Campus], Mumbai, to talk informally to a group of academic teachers, including Department Head Dr Mitra Mukherjee-Parikh, my friend Dr Meenakshi Shivram and others, about my work and the teaching of literature and creative writing in universities.
